    Job Title: Cabinet Painter

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong in painting and finishing cabinets, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. The Cabinet Painter will be responsible for preparing, priming, and painting cabinets, ensuring a smooth and even finish.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare cabinets for painting by removing hardware, cleaning surfaces, and repairing any damage.

    + Apply primer and paint to cabinets using spray equipment, ensuring a smooth and even finish.

    + Mask and protect surfaces not being painted, including walls, floors, and countertops.

    + Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning up after each job.

    + Communicate with clients and team members to ensure satisfaction with the final product.

    + Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in cabinet painting and finishing.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience in cabinet painting and finishing.

    + Proficiency in using spray equipment and other painting tools.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality results.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Excellent communication and customer service skills.

    + Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.

    + Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with paint prep, sanding, and industrial painting.

    + Familiarity with paint booths, blasting, and powder coating.

    + Experience in a construction or manufacturing environment.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a combination of manufacturing and construction, with a culture that values collaboration and fun. Employees should maintain good attitudes, punctuality, and professionalism, as the production process serves as a showroom for customers. The workforce comprises 80-120 employees depending on projects, with small teams for different build processes. The position requires the ability to lift 50 lbs, standing for over 10 hours a day, with work hours from 7 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Thursday. A daily crew meeting occurs at 6:55 am, with optional worship at 6:40 am. The dress code requires closed-toe work shoes or boots, sleeved shirts, and appropriate shorts or pants, with specific restrictions on certain types of attire.

    This is a Contract position based out of Cleveland, TN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
