    Description

    Jennifer Fukumae with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is partnering with a health care investment firm to hire a Fund Accounting Manager to support their expanding credit and private equity fund strategies. This is a high-impact role within a growing Finance team supporting a newly launched royalty income and structured credit fund in addition to select PE vehicles. This Manager will play a key role in financial reporting, fund accounting, operations, and compliance for credit-focused and private equity investment vehicles. You will serve as the main point of contact for the third-party fund administrator while collaborating closely with internal Finance leadership, Portfolio Operations, and Treasury.

     

    This role offers significant ownership across accounting, reporting, investment activity, and operational processes.

     

    Compensation: $165–200K Base + Bonus + Equity

    Key Responsibilities

    + Oversee and manage the fund administrator, ensuring accuracy of accounting records and investor reporting

    + Lead quarterly and annual financial reporting, including review of financial statements, audit coordination, and regulatory filing review

    + Review complex equity and capital account allocations, including waterfalls, fee calculations, and carry structures

    + Support the Fund Controller with financial planning and analysis for investment vehicles

    + Review and approve capital calls, distributions, income/expense allocations, and cash forecasting

    + Partner with Treasury to support funding of investments, tracking collections, expense processing, and valuation updates

    + Review and maintain support for investment cost measurement, royalty income recognition, and cost relief calculations

    + Ensure internal controls, compliance processes, and operational workflows are executed effectively

    Requirements

    + 5–7+ years of fund accounting experience, including credit/debt fund exposure

    + Prior experience managing or coordinating with a third-party fund administrator

    + CPA strongly preferred

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

    + Background in public accounting (Big 4 or similar) is highly valued

    + Experience with tools such as Allvue (AltaReturn), Geneva, Sentry, WSO, or similar fund/loan accounting systems

    + Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills

    + Ability to manage competing priorities while driving projects to completion

    + High level of integrity, judgment, and professionalism
