Description We are looking for a skilled Cloud Network Engineer to join our team in Malvern, Pennsylvania. This contract-to-permanent role involves designing, implementing, and supporting advanced cloud networking solutions with a focus on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, cloud architecture, and security, along with hands-on experience in enterprise tools such as Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco networking equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and manage cloud networking solutions in Microsoft Azure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.

• Configure and oversee Azure Virtual Networks, VPNs, Network Security Groups, ExpressRoute, and Application Gateways.

• Monitor network performance using Azure-native tools and third-party platforms, identifying and resolving issues proactively.

• Develop and implement best practices for cloud network architecture, including automation, governance, and disaster recovery strategies.

• Troubleshoot complex network problems across hybrid environments and provide timely resolutions.

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, policies, and procedures to support compliance and change management.

• Mentor and support entry level network engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cloud engineers, server administrators, and security specialists, to ensure seamless IT operations.

• Support compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements through thorough documentation and adherence to protocols.

• Participate actively in IT change management processes to ensure smooth transitions and updates. Requirements • At least 5 years of experience in network engineering, with 3+ years specializing in cloud networking, preferably Azure.

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure networking services, including Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, ExpressRoute, and Network Security Groups.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or Azure Resource Manager templates.

• Strong troubleshooting skills using tools like Wireshark and Azure Network Watcher.

• Comprehensive understanding of network security principles and practices.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills to effectively collaborate across teams.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional technical teams.

• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco networking equipment is highly preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
