    Description

    A rapidly expanding hospitality group in Encinitas—operating multiple restaurant and venue concepts—is seeking a Full-Charge Bookkeeper who can manage complex transactional volume across multiple revenue streams. This is a highly collaborative role supporting operations, management, and ownership.

    Core Responsibilities

    + Full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple hospitality locations

    + Handle daily sales reconciliation, POS reporting validation, cash variance research, and deposit tracking

    + Oversee high-volume AP and AR workflows, expense tracking, and vendor management

    + Process weekly check runs and ensure timely AP payment cycles

    + Prepare month-end closes, reconciling multiple bank accounts, credit card accounts, and merchant deposits

    + Maintain inventory spreadsheets, support COGS calculations, and track vendors with fluctuating pricing

    + Prepare financial statements for each location and assist with weekly KPI and labor cost reporting

    + Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow projections

    Requirements

    + 3+ years full-charge bookkeeping experience, including multi-entity accounting

    + Hospitality or restaurant accounting required due to transaction complexity

    + Strong understanding of sales tax, tip reporting, and labor cost analysis

    + High-volume invoice processing experience

    + Advanced Excel and POS system experience (Toast, Aloha, Square, etc.)
