Position Summary
As the Senior Manager of the Compliance Risk Governance team within Corporate Compliance, this individual will lead the execution and continuous enhancement of the Compliance Risk Governance Program. The Senior Manager will oversee risk management activities that ensure consistent identification, evaluation, and prioritization of compliance risks across CVS Health’s diverse business segments.
This role is responsible for developing and maintaining the statistical and analytic components of the Risk Governance Program, including risk models and assessments that evaluate compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies. The Senior Manager will also lead and develop a team of compliance and analytics professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and process excellence.
Primary responsibilities
+ Lead execution and continuous improvement of the Compliance Risk Governance Program, Risk Governance Risk Cycle, and Analytic Assessments.
+ Oversee risk data collection, analysis, and reporting across business segments.
+ Direct the development and application of statistical and analytic methodologies to support compliance risk evaluation and prioritization.
+ Guide the design of dashboards and metrics to identify and communicate emerging risk trends.
+ Manage the integration of internal and external data sources for comprehensive compliance risk analytics.
+ Partner with Legal, Enterprise Risk Management, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment in risk management activities.
+ Synthesize analytic findings into actionable insights and risk summaries for senior leadership.
+ Lead, coach, and develop team members to drive performance and analytical capability.
+ Identify opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and methodologies within the Risk Governance framework.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Advanced analytical and statistical expertise with experience applying quantitative methods to risk identification and prioritization.
+ Experience with QuickBase or similar platforms for data and workflow management.
+ Experience translating complex analytics into concise, executive-level reporting.
+ Knowledge of Medicare and CMS compliance risk assessment requirements.
+ Understanding of Medicaid compliance obligations and risk.
Required Qualifications
+ 7+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or data analytics.
+ Strong understanding of compliance risk frameworks, monitoring practices, and risk management principles.
+ Broad understanding of CVS Health’s structure and business segments.
+ Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement methodologies.
+ Expertise using Microsoft Excel, Power Query, and PowerPoint.
+ Proven ability to communicate effectively with executive and cross-functional stakeholders.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
