Forte, an ATS company, is engaged by the real estate and/or property and casualty insurance industry to provide technical experts to assist with resolving insurance claims. From the time we receive assignments until the final invoice, Forte’s operations department manages all projects, including those of the appointed expert, using people skills and customized job-management software. We deliver our product promptly and accurately to grow market share and maintain customer loyalty. This role requires a client-centric approach, attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and a positive, growth-minded attitude.
Appraisal Quality Assurance Analystis responsible for applying specialty knowledge and expertise when reviewing estimates and narrative reports to ensure accurate valuations of property for insurance claims and other purposes. The QA Analyst will be responsible for the quality of our narrative reports and will collaborate with various departments to establish property values, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
This role is fully remote, with a preference for candidates based in Dallas TX, Charlotte NC, Chicago IL, or Denver CO.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Appraisal Process Management:Ensure proper execution of appraisal processes, from initial inspection to final report, adhering to regulations and industry best practices.
+ Appraisal Review:Review appraisal estimates and reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
+ Conduct Appraisals:Occasional need to handle appraisal claims.
+ Onboarding:Onboard new contractor appraisers, including training and developing skills to help achieve desired Service Level Agreements from our clients. Collaborate with teams to correct errors and implement improvements.
+ Data Analytics:Maintain records of reviews, findings, and corrective actions. Report Trends and recurring issues to management for strategic quality initiatives.
+ Market Knowledge: Conduct periodic market analysis. Stay current on market trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact property valuations.
+ Technical Expertise:Possess certification with a strong understanding of valuation methodologies (sales comparison, cost, income approaches) and be proficient in using appraisal software and databases.
+ Compliance:Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and industry standards related to property appraisal.
+ Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure accurate and consistent valuations.
Qualifications
The following skills are integral to success in this role:
+ Licensed claims adjuster and Certified Appraiser
+ Property & Casualty Adjusting License
+ 10+ years of property personal lines insurance claims experience
+ Familiar with Xactimate and Xactanalysis
+ Exceptional teamwork and communication abilities
+ Remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
+ Growth-minded – sharing ideas with operations to improve process efficiencies, and foster open communication, etc.
+ Computer literate and proficient in using Microsoft Office, various browsers, and PDF programs. Ability to learn our Job Management Systems.
