About the Job
The Director of Digital will own the end-to-end strategy
for Brightly Software’s digital experiences. The mission of this role is to
generate more qualified leads and inbound pipeline, significantly increase
organic website traffic, improve website engagement, and ensure optimal
visibility in traditional and AI-powered search results. This role is also
critical in upholding and reinforcing Brightly's brand identity across all
digital touchpoints, balancing lead generation with consistent brand representation.
This includes responsibility for SEO, SEM, paid social, and overall website
experience, along with reporting on related key metrics.
What you will do
+ Lead, develop, and executedata-driven digital marketing strategies and tactics in alignment withreinforcing Brightly's brand identity and demand generation campaigns toincrease lead generation, revenue, and return on investment.
+ Drive strategy and planning forBrightly’s digital presence, ensuring scale to support growth (M&A,international expansion, product launches, etc.) and achieve businessresults, always with an eye towards brand consistency.
+ Own the Brightly Software websiteexperience, performance, and ongoing delivery. Work closely with themarketing organization to optimize the website experience and delivercontinuous improvements on key performance metrics such as SEO results,return on ad spend, total engagement, conversions, and lead quality andvolume.
+ Lead and inspire a team consistingof a UX/UI Designer, CRO Manager, and Paid Media Manager, fostering aculture that values both performance and brand integrity.
+ Collaborate with content, design,web developers, and other digital collaborators across marketing and theorganization to build best-in-class digital experiences that are bothhigh-performing and on-brand.
+ Build, maintain, and communicate aroadmap for ongoing website improvements by working closely with keycross-functional partners, ensuring enhancements align with brandguidelines.
+ Monitor and lead website operationsincluding web content management, sitemap, navigation, localization, andanalytics to improve discoverability (SEO, including optimization for AIsearch results and conversational interfaces), user experience, and conversion.
+ Drive comprehensive SEO strategywith agency partners, including content improvements, keywordoptimization, link building, and technical SEO activities to improveauthority, organic traffic, engagement, and visibility in evolving searchlandscapes (including AI search).
+ Manage and optimize key conversionpoints in the marketing funnel, including landing pages, websitecalls-to-action, and lead-generating forms, including end-to-end tagging,tracking, and attribution logic.
+ Monitor overall web performanceusing Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager toprovide data-driven recommendations to improve user experience,engagement, and acquisition by channel, ensuring data insights also informbrand perception.
+ Use data to develop informed pointsof view and define critical metrics to measure the success of your digitalstrategy. Work closely with developers, creative teams, and marketingoperations to bring your vision to life, ensuring all executions are brand-compliant.

What you need
+ 10+ years of digital marketingexperience, including website strategy, A/B testing and optimization, andpaid media account management (paid search and social).
+ Team leadership experience indigital marketing.
+ Proven ability to drive significantorganic website traffic and improve search visibility across variousplatforms, including emerging AI search technologies.
+ Strong understanding of brandprinciples and experience in ensuring brand adherence across all digitalchannels.
+ Experience with product-led growthmodels, thought leadership engagement models, SaaS, and time within ahigh-growth environment.
+ Great project management,analytical, and problem-solving skills — scope work, drive execution, anddeliver on tight deadlines while working with multiple collaborators.
+ Experience managing agency partnersand third-party partners for SEO and web development.
+ Ability to assess and improve sitetag management.
+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalentwork experience (ideally at a SaaS business).
