Quality Risk Management Coordinator (Registered Nurse)
About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in quality improvement, risk management, and regulatory compliance to join our team as a Quality Risk Management Coordinator. This role ensures patient safety, drives performance improvement, and maintains accreditation readiness at our ambulatory surgery center.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead the Quality Council and performance improvement teams; set agendas and maintain meeting documentation.
+ Prepare and analyze reports including medical record audits, infection control, patient safety metrics, and incident reporting.
+ Conduct root cause analysis, manage sentinel events, and implement proactive risk management strategies.
+ Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, National Patient Safety Goals, and standards from accrediting bodies such as AAAHC and Joint Commission.
+ Collaborate with the Regional Quality Coordinator to implement the SCA strategic clinical-quality plan.
+ Maintain survey readiness and continuous compliance with accreditation standards.
+ Educate and train staff on quality improvement, risk management, and regulatory updates.

Qualifications
Qualifications
+ Registered Nurse (RN) with training and experience in quality/performance improvement and accreditation/regulatory standards.
+ Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
+ Knowledge of survey methodology, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
+ Ability to regularly access internal and external resources to maintain professional knowledge base.
USD $48.00/Hr. USD $56.00/Hr.
