As a Statistical Reporting Developer, you will be the go-to resource for fixing and optimizing complex SQL logic in production environments. This role is highly hands-on, requiring someone who thrives in untangling messy, undocumented legacy systems and ensuring data integrity across critical reporting processes. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, reverse-engineer logic, and maintain compliance with industry regulations, all while driving accuracy and efficiency in our reporting infrastructure.

+ Dive into production and development environments to debug, troubleshoot, and fix broken SQL logic.

+ Read, analyze, and rewrite complex queries to improve performance and accuracy.

+ Diagnose and resolve issues in data pipelines, including mismatches and failed jobs.

+ Reverse-engineer existing logic and workflows in legacy systems with limited documentation.

+ Maintain and enhance statistical reporting infrastructure, including cubes, mapping tables, views, stored procedures, and ETL/ELT orchestration.

+ Collaborate with accounting, actuarial, finance, and compliance teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

+ Support audits and regulatory inquiries by validating data and reconciling to source systems.

+ Drive process improvements and standardization within the reporting function.

+ Property & Casualty insurance experience or comfort with policy, claims, rating, and underwriting data is a big plus.

+ Expert-level SQL skills: ability to read, debug, and rewrite complex queries in large-scale environments.

+ Hands-on experience troubleshooting production data pipelines and resolving logic issues.

+ Familiarity with Oracle-to-Snowflake environments (not a migration role, but understanding context).

+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in ambiguous, undocumented environments.

+ Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.

+ Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite.

+ Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.

    + Pay Range: $65 - $85/hr.

+ Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, Disability insurance, 401(k) savings plan, Employee Stock Purchase plan, Professional development program, Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Time (in geographies where legally required)

+ An inspirational place for you to do your best work, be engaged in meaningful ways, and continually develop the skills, competencies, and qualities that set our team apart.
