    This leading provider of inflight entertainment, connectivity, and digital solutions, serving airlines worldwide is looking for their next accountant to join their team!

    Qualifications:

    Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, economics, or any other related field of study

     

    4+ years of experience in general ledger accounting

     

    Experience with month-end, journal entries, reconciliations

    Experience with mid-large size ERP systems

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare journal entries with detailed support in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.

    + Conduct account reconciliations and critically review account balances to ensure validity and correct accounting treatment.

    + Assist in general ledger closing activities, including the monthly close process.

    + Prepare journal entries prior to the close to ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and company policies.

    + Review non-recurring journal entries to determine appropriate classification.

    + Apply professional guidance such as GAAP and IFRS, and adhere to company policies to resolve various issues.

    + Identify areas for improvement and proactively resolve issues.

    + Communicate effectively with finance and accounting staff and other stakeholders.

    This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $43.33 - $46.42/hr.
