    Job Title: Operations CoordinatorJob Description

     

    The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for processing daily work associated with the department, including asset movement, account transfers, and new account set-up and maintenance. The role requires handling routine and complex transactions accurately, timely, and efficiently while identifying, interpreting, and resolving potential problems. The coordinator will independently follow procedures to meet service level agreements and achieve quality metrics, using various financial products, software, and systems, all while complying with company policies and regulatory requirements.

    Responsibilities

    + Process daily work related to asset movement, account transfers, and new account set-up and maintenance.

    + Handle routine and complex transactions accurately and efficiently.

    + Proactively identify, interpret, and resolve potential problems.

    + Independently follow procedures to meet service level agreements.

    + Learn, use, and support various financial products, software, and systems.

    + Comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's Degree.

    + 1+ years of experience in the financial services industry.

    + 1+ years of experience processing in a high volume and deadline-driven environment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Expert familiarity with operations topics such as ACATs, broker-dealer changes, tape-to-tape transfers, and re-papering requirements.

    + Strong familiarity with day-to-day office operations including ad review requirements, various product lines, servicing clients, and technology.

    + Ability to answer day-to-day questions on these topics independently.

    + Strong understanding of Brokerage Operations business and regulatory requirements.

    + 1+ years of experience in a processing, accounting, or production-driven environment.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is business casual with an open cubicle style, requiring in-office presence for two days a week. The work shift is from 8 am to 5 pm. While there is no lunchroom that serves food, there is a designated place to eat. This company does not operate on a strict clock-in and clock-out basis.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Des Moines, IA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
