Job Description
CAI is seeking an **Application Architect** to create and maintain customized solutions for our client. As an Architect, you will be responsible for design, developing, and maintaining Oracle-based financial applications. This will be a **full-time** contract opportunity and **Hybrid** in Trenton, NJ.
What You'll Do
+ Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, and database packages
+ Design, develop, and maintain Oracle-based financial applications
+ Design and maintain data integration processes for application functionality and reporting
+ Utilize Oracle Fusion Middleware for application deployment, security, and integration
+ Ensure applications align with the clients' accounting practices from a technical perspective
+ Ensure compliance with data security and PCI standards
+ Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
+ Monitor and ensure application performance, security, and compliance with Department and regulatory standards
What You'll Need
Required:
+ 5+ years of experience in application development using Oracle Forms, Oracle APEX, and PL/SQL
+ Experience with Oracle Database development, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
+ Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Middleware components (e.g., WebLogic Server, Oracle HTTP Server)
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
+ Experience integrating applications with enterprise financial systems
+ Demonstrated experience ensuring PCI compliance in application development
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
+ Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
+ Experience with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS)
+ Knowledge of application and data security best practices
+ Experience working in a government or public sector environment
+ Oracle certifications (e.g., PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate, Oracle APEX Developer, Oracle Middleware certifications) preferred
Physical Demands
+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
+ Sedentary work involving sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access.
