    Performance Improvement Engineer- Administration Services

    Work location: Texas Health Dallas - 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, TX 75231

    Work hours: Full Time Days, 40 hours a week. Monday through Friday, 8 hours daily. Typically, 8:00am-5:00pm. Weekends depending on project.

    Administration Services Department highlights:

    + Works inside the hospital alongside other leaders to drive process improvement initiatives

    + No direct patient care responsibilities; focuses on identifying processes that enhance patient care

    + Collaborates with multiple hospital departments, including:

    + Surgery

    + Emergency Department (ED)

    + Engineering

    + Environmental Services (EVS)

    + Nursing

    + Executive Team

    Here's What You Need

    + Bachelor's Degree Business administration, healthcare administration, or relevant field. is required And

    + Master's Degree Business administration, healthcare administration, or relevant field. is preferred

    + 5 Years Experience leading organizational change and/process improvement including: project management, change management, performance improvement, or process improvement. is required

    + SSBBC - Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required, Master Black Belt preferred. Upon Hire is required

    + The Six Sigma Black Belt has advanced leadership and communication skills, operates independently and in support of the Master Black

    + Belt/Director of PI; analyzes and solves organizational problems and is involved in process improvement projects. The Black Belt will have a strong skill set in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Minitab experience. They will be able to prioritize workload, proficient in time management and lead projects utilizing various Lean/Six Sigma tools.

    What You Will Do

    + Ability to generate change through influence rather than authority using a proven framework to direct and accelerate organizational transformation.

    + Provide work groups, committees and task forces with exceptional facilitation, educational and communication skills (both written and verbal).

    + Use effective chartering techniques to appropriately and efficiently scope projects and link them to the organization's overall strategic plan, KPI's and key work processes.

    + Work independently and intentionally to complete projects according to agreed upon project time lines, achieving milestones and deliverables as per the plan.

    + Demonstrate an advanced understanding of improvement methodology; using both qualitative and quantitative data; deploying methods for obtaining, organizing and displaying data and statistical process control for analyzing data.

    + Function as a subject matter expert in change management and improvement/design; actively participate in the development and deployment of training materials specific to these areas. Act as a mentor/partner with colleagues and entity leaders.
