Work hours: Full Time; Days; 40 hours/week; Monday - Friday 8A-5P

Here's What You Need
* High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
* One year experience with chart auditing, quality improvement, data entry required.
* Associate's Degree in Health Information Management or related field preferred.
* One year experience with Medical Records preferred.
* ICD-10 coding experience preferred.
* RHIT certification preferred.
What You Will Do
* Analyze medical records daily to determine trauma registry eligibility.
* Maintain and organize trauma registry data for coding and abstraction.
* Perform queries and generate reports from the trauma registry database.
* Collect patient care data and report significant findings to Trauma Program leadership.
* Monitor trauma patient records for quality improvement indicators.
* Integrate ACS guidelines into trauma patient care processes.
* Support coordination of care across injury prevention, pre-hospital, acute, emergent, and rehabilitation phases.
