    Job Description:

    GDIT is seeking a **Lead Cloud Engineer/Manager** to join our program supporting the biomedical research community for our customer with the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) at the National Institutes of Health.

    Responsibilities:

    + Lead the migration and management of NHLBI’s applications and services to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

    + Design, implement and maintain cloud environments including CI/CD pipelines.

    + Ensure all cloud systems adhere to NIH security requirements and standards.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a related field.

    + Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud engineering and management.

    + Experience in a biomedical research or healthcare setting.

    + Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.

    + Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.

    + Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.

    + Experience tracking and optimizing cloud costs

    + Azure Solutions Architect expert, Azure AI fundamentals

    Desired Qualifications:

    + Experience working at NIH

    + Experience working with multiple cloud providers

    + Experience with Jenkins and GitHub

    The likely salary range for this position is $145,010 - $196,190. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
