Job Description:
GDIT is seeking an **Lead Enterprise Operations Manager** to join our program supporting the biomedical research community for our customer with the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) at the National Institutes of Health.
Responsibilities:
+ Provide leadership for the infrastructure operations team.
+ Ensure the availability and reliability of NHLBI's heterogeneous hybrid infrastructure (on-premise and cloud environments, including Azure, AWS, and GCP).
+ Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of physical and virtual IT environments.
+ Implement disaster recovery and continuity of operations plans.
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, computer science, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure operations.
+ Preferred experience with cloud technology and virtualization in a government or biomedical research setting.
+ Strong understanding of data center management and disaster recovery planning.
+ One or more Azure, AWS and/or OpenShift certifications
Desired Qualifications:
+ PMP or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
+ Experience working with NIH
+ ITIL/ITSM

The likely salary range for this position is $102,765 - $139,035. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
