To ensure environmental compliance via recordkeeping, reporting with program implementation and management. Additionally, develop and drive sustainability objectives via energy reduction, waste minimization and other GHG / CF reduction strategies.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Environmental and Sustainability Lead you will:

+ Be responsible for supporting air, waste and water compliance for our Clearwater and other Power Transmission manufacturing sites

+ Support reporting and licensing/permitting efforts to ensure regulatory compliance including RCRA, EPCRA, air and stormwater

+ Preparation and submittal of documentation and reports required including RCRA Permit, EPCRA (Tier II and TRI), and other EPA regulations

+ Manage all aspects of the ISO 14001 program

+ Track site progress against EHS metrics and goals and participate/lead compliance audits

+ Lead and implement GEV’s ESG and Sustainability strategy for assigned locations

+ Responsible for deployment and execution, of other EHS programs and projects for our Clearwater site including; safety plans, conducting training, and identifying and mitigating potential hazards related to environmental, health and safety

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Health & Safety, or related discipline from an accredited university

+ Minimum of 3 years environmental experience in a manufacturing facility, including environmental compliance, industrial data collection and report preparation

Desired Characteristics

+ Environmental permitting and regulatory compliance experience

+ Experience with ISO 14001 and/or lead auditor

+ Ability to communicate cross-functionally and work independently

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $85,500.00 and $142,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
