Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

+ Support and Improve Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost in Turbine Assembly

+ Improve processes and prevent repeat defects

+ Act as a Problem solver and process improvement leader

+ Complete 4D and 8D and act as coach on problem solving process

+ Develop, improve, and maintain manufacturing methods

+ Support EHS projects in cell and ensure processes contribute to a safe work environment

+ Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.

+ Act as mentor to other Manufacturing Engineers in the area

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain from an accredited university or college **OR** a High School Diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain

+ Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering or supply chain

Eligibility Requirements

+ Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future

+ This position is 100% onsite position at the GE Vernova Greenville, SC Garlington site

+ Strong oral and written communication skills.

+ Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

+ Ability to project manage and complete long term projects

+ Knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing Principles

+ High Attention to detail and accurate execution of projects and tasks

+ Experience reading BOM and technical drawings

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $81,700.00 and $136,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
