    Behavior Technician – Substitute Positions

     

    Pay Rate: $25/hr

     

    Schedule: On-call | Approx. 12 hours/week

     

    Start Date: ASAP

    About the Role

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking Behavior Technicians to provide educational and behavioral support to students with special needs across Carpinteria schools. You will collaborate with teachers and behavioral specialists to help students achieve their learning and behavioral goals.

    Responsibilities

    + Implement behavior intervention plans under supervision

    + Support students in classroom and school settings

    + Assist with daily activities, including toileting if needed

    + Collect data and communicate progress to the team

    Minimum Requirements

    + High School diploma or equivalent

    + Previous experience as a Behavior Technician or ABA experience preferred

    + Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred

    + Current CPR certification (if applicable)

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years old
