    The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.

    + Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging

    + A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    Job Description:

    Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced CAT Scan Technologist to join a dynamic team supporting mobile clinics throughout the Bay Area. This is an exciting opportunity to work with well-known healthcare organizations in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

    Position Details:

    + Location: Menlo Park, CA (Bay Area mobile clinic coverage)

    + Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    + Duration: 8 weeks

    + Start Date: ASAP

    + Setting: Mobile clinics with a start-up atmosphere

    Pay:

    + Travel: Weekly $3,003 (includes $1,881 stipends + $1,122 taxable income)

    + Local: $67/hr

    Responsibilities:

    + Perform high-quality CAT scans in mobile clinic settings

    + Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and comfort

    + Maintain and operate imaging equipment according to protocols

    + Assist with patient preparation and positioning

    Requirements:

    + ARRT Certification – Required

    + Venipuncture Skills – Preferred

    + Minimum 1 year of CAT Scan Tech experience

    + Ability to adapt to a mobile clinic environment and work independently
