Experienced Behavior Technician – School-Based Role in Los Angeles County

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced Behavior Technicians to support students in school settings across Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena, and greater Los Angeles County. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a background in ABA or behavioral support who are ready to bring their expertise into classrooms and help students thrive.

Position Highlights

+ Pay: $24–$27/hour, based on experience

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM

+ Location: School sites throughout Los Angeles County

Key Responsibilities

+ Provide direct support to students with behavioral and developmental needs in classroom environments

+ Implement individualized behavior intervention plans with consistency and accuracy

+ Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and behavioral specialists to ensure effective student support

+ Establish structured, inclusive environments that encourage growth and independence

+ Reinforce positive behaviors and promote social-emotional development

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in ABA, behavior therapy, or related intervention roles

+ RBT certification preferred but not required

+ Must be at least 18 years of age and meet all employment requirements

+ Strong communication skills and a commitment to student success
