What to Expect
As a **Lead S** **enior (ICC) Board Operator** in the Integrated Collaboration/Control Center (ICC), you will play a pivotal role in remotely monitoring and controlling the flows, pressures, and specifications of our field operations. You will quarterback the safe and reliable performance of our operations, overseeing daily field gas flow goals ranging from 400 mmcf/d up to over 1 bcf/d. The ICC supports 40+ plants, integrating operating, engineering, financial, and optimization data to maximize value through collaborative decision-making.
You’ll be part of a centralized, data-driven team that leverages real-time information, advanced optimization models, and cross-functional support to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable plant operations. The ICC value stream includes 24x7 monitoring, plant and system optimization, gas scheduling, and remote gas plant board operations. This position is office-based in Denver, CO.

What You’ll Do
As a Lead Sr ICC Board Operator, you will have optimization models, engineering, financial and operations support at your fingertips to maximize the efficiency and profitability of the plants you are helping operate. Some of the lead responsibilities are as follows:
+ Work with ICC Remote operations and optimize multiple gas plants, ensuring production, quality, and efficiency targets are met.
+ Monitor operational data for 40+ plants using advanced control systems and optimization models.
+ Coordinate with plant technicians, pipeline controllers, and system optimizers to ensure safe and reliable operations.
+ Exchange information with ICC plant coordinators and engineers to optimize plant performance.
+ Collaborate with field personnel to coordinate pig launching, field utilization, and maintenance activities.
+ Lead and mentor operators as needed, supporting onboarding, ongoing training, and compliance.
+ Participate in Management of Change (MOC) processes, alarm management, incident troubleshooting.
+ Work with the automation group on DCS changes, updating DCS issues list, projects and alarm rationalization.
+ Maintain/Review accurate logs, reports, and documentation for shift handovers and audits.
+ Backfill operating consoles when needed.
+ Operate various plant equipment/systems (process controls, pumps, compressors, turbines, amine treating, etc.).
+ Monitor field operations remotely via electronic surveillance.
+ Submit Notifications through SAP, help train in writing notifications for the team.
+ Communicate field performance and remediation recommendations to local leadership.
+ Engage stakeholders to develop and communicate operational targets.
+ Monitor performance against targets and drive/document corrective actions.
+ Provide guidance based on consolidated data and operational insights.
+ Support responses to abnormal and crisis events.
+ Track deviations to plans and their causes.
+ Complete relevant training program for the specific region, this will include site travel for local sign offs.
+ Work 40-hour work week, Monday-Friday.
What You’ll Bring – Required
+ Legally authorized to work in the US
+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent
+ At least 18 years of age
+ Valid driver’s license
+ 5 or more years of onsite plant operations experience
+ 5 or more years as a board operator at a processing plant
+ Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office
+ Willing to live and/or relocate within 45 minutes of the Denver Office
+ Willing to travel for quarterly training (1-2 weeks based on business needs)
+ Willing and able to perform and comply with following items, with or without reasonable accommodation:
+ To lift and transport objects up to 20 pounds
+ To push and pull forces up to 10 pounds
+ To walk, stand, stoop, sit, climb, and carry material daily
+ To work overtime on an as-needed basis
+ To respond to emergency calls as needed
+ To remain on call as needed
+ To work 12-hour shifts rotating between days, nights, weekends, and holidays
+ To wear personal protective equipment (such as fire-retardant clothing, steel-toe shoes, ear and eye protection)
What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred
+ 7 or more years of onsite plant operations experience
+ 7 or more years in remote/console operations
+ 5 or more years as a board operator at a cryogenic natural gas processing plant
+ Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP
+ Experience with Foxconn and OneNote for data review
+ Ability to read and understand P&IDs and PFDs
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills
+ Advanced troubleshooting and data analysis abilities
+ Exceptional multi-tasking skills (monitoring and controlling multiple screens simultaneously)
Midstream
The Phillips 66 Midstream business is a safe, reliable, and trusted provider for the movement, storage, gathering, and processing of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 70,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities. Our capabilities include extensive natural gas gathering and processing operations, enhancing our wellhead-to-market strategy. We also provide the connectivity between the various Phillips 66 business units.

Compensation Range
The base pay range for this role is $117,000 – $143,000 depending on a candidate's relevant work experience and education.
