    The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

     

    Evaluating and managing due diligence for project finance transactions, leading credit and execution process, and negotiations with 3rd party consultants including: technical, market, insurance and environmental; and performing credit risk assessments for non-recourse project financing. Creating complex project finance models that can assess the feasibility and financial viability of large-scale project, including cash flow and debt sizing analysis and sensitivities. Leading marketing activities for project finance covering clients, identifying and sourcing lending and non-lending (cross selling) opportunities that conform to the Bank’s business strategy and credit policies. Leading the execution, structuring, negotiations and documentation for non-recourse financings and financial advisory for financing placed in: (i) in the commercial bank market, (ii) with Export Credit Agencies, and (iii) with institutional investors in the capital markets; and overseeing and managing junior staff (Analysts and Associates) on all aspects of deal execution including credit application, marketing material, compliance, due diligence and financial modeling. Fostering and maintaining client relationships through day-to-day communication and providing various advisories and finance market information. Developing financing solutions and proposals to clients, utilizing various financing sources such as bank loans, export credit agencies, multilateral agencies, debt capital markets and others. Managing the credit analysis and internal approval process leading the deal team. Facilitating global coordination with project finance teams of other regions and branches, as well as headquarters. Facilitating the learning and mentoring process of junior team members through live transactions, sharing of information and serving as a resource to answer questions. Participating in special projects and assignments as directed by the Managing Director and Group Head.

     

    Qualifications – External

     

    Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Financial Economics, Engineering or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree).

     

    Experience: 3 years of experience working on a team that leads the origination and execution of non-recourse project finance transactions placed in the (i) the commercial bank market, (ii) capital markets and (iii) with Export Credit Agencies; evaluating and managing credit risk, preparing internal credit submittals, and leading due diligence for project finance transactions, including overseeing technical, market, insurance, and environmental consultants; building project financial models including debt sizing analysis and cash flow sensitivities, drafting information memorandums, lender presentations and rating agencies presentation; performing financial advisory for project financings; and 2 years of experience must include leading transactions in the digital infrastructure sector.

     

    Travel: Position requires travel 15% of the time, primarily domestic, with some travel to Canada, Mexico and Latin America.

     

    Other: Position requires employment in-office 4 days per week and remotely 1 day per week.

     

    Wage: $190,000 to $275,000 U.S. dollars per year
