    **Location:** 1099 Miller Drive, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701, United States

     

    We have an immediate opening for a skilled and motivated **Diesel Mechanic** to join our team in Altamonte Springs, FL. If you have experience in the waste industry, that’s a big plus—but not required!

    Shift

    + **Night Shift:** 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM

    + **Schedule:** Monday–Friday

    Pay

    + **$25.00 – $35.00 per hour (DOE)**

    + **$5,000 Sign-On Stay-On Bonus**

    What You’ll Do

    + Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and heavy equipment.

    + Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems.

    + Use onboard computer systems to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

    + Document all work in fleet maintenance software, including parts and labor.

    + Review and complete repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.

    + Conduct safety checks and respond to emergency breakdowns.

    + Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards.

    Physical Requirements

    + Ability to lift, push, or pull objects over 50 lbs.

    + Work in tight spaces and handle greasy tools while following safety protocols.

    Minimum Requirements

    + 3+ years of relevant experience

    + Must provide your own tools

    + Computer skills for fleet maintenance software

    + Experience with DPF Regeneration systems on CUMMINS and MACK trucks is a plus
