    Summary This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The incumbent directs and coordinates the development of joint cyberspace capabilities and requirements and to integrate them into a cohesive set of tools and capabilities which conform to and complies with joint operational concepts and architectures designated within the cyberspace domain. Responsibilities As a CYBER FORCE OPERATIONS ANALYST at the GS-0301-14 some of your typical work assignments may include: Serves as the Cyber Force Operations Analyst and Force Application Requirements Representative, Functional Capabilities Board for the Joint Staff DJ-8. Responsible for directing and coordinating the development and maintenance of the cyber portfolio of the Force Application (FA) FCB and for producing timely analyses related to issues in these functional areas Oversees the identification and development of solutions to complex problems related to cyber and IO requirements. Plans, coordinates, conducts, and evaluates efforts pertaining to FA Cyber Capability/IO Gap Assessments, resourcing issues and cyber/1O requirements synchronization. Evaluates, validates, and monitor Joint Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership, Personnel, and Facilities (DOTMLPF) capability solutions, and recommend on non-material solutions on acquisition programs and initiatives Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service: Directing and coordinating the development of joint cyberspace capabilities and requirements to integrate them into a cohesive set of tools and capabilities. Coordinating the development and maintenance of cyber portfolio for Force Application (FA). Developing analytic plans and decision methodologies for completing effectiveness assessments of FA Cyber/IO requirement efforts. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
