About the Role
As a SoyPlus Sanitation Technician, you will take on an enhanced role in ensuring the production facility and equipment remains clean while functioning efficiently and safely. This position involves cleaning and sanitizing equipment, managing facility upkeep, and assisting with general housekeeping. You will also provide exceptional service to our farmer-owners and customers.
What will you do?
+ Take ownership of all aspects of cleaning and sanitizing production equipment to ensure seamless functionality and efficiency.
+ Properly mix and use cleaning chemicals and disinfectant chemicals.
+ Clean and sanitize equipment, production lines, floors, walls, and other facility area according to sanitation schedule.
+ Record cleaning activities on checklist and sanitation logs.
+ Ensure compliance with plant policies, Federal and State regulations, and all quality & safety standards.
+ Work in a collaborative team environment to meet cleanliness and inspection requirements.
+ Safely and correctly use tools and equipment as needed to complete tasks such as broom, shovel, dust pan, air compressor, pressure washer, etc.
+ Wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) at all times.
+ Deliver exceptional customer service, demonstrating professionalism and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
Requirements
Licenses:This position requires the safe operation of a motor vehicle to perform the essential functions of the job. The employee must meet the qualifications set forth in the company’s vehicle safety policy. Failure to meet these qualifications could result in removal from this position.
