The Journeyman Engineer is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical infrastructure.
Monday- Friday: 4:00pm to 12:00am
Pay:$ 47.49/hr . , Cert. $ 55.99
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Position Summary
The Journeyman Engineer is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical infrastructure.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and cooling towers. Perform (http://towers.Perform) routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems. Troubleshoot (http://systems.Troubleshoot) and repair electrical and mechanical equipment. Maintain (http://equipment.Maintain) plumbing systems including pumps, valves, and fixtures. Respond (http://fixtures.Respond) to service requests and emergency calls in a timely manner. Maintain (http://manner.Maintain) accurate logs, records, and documentation of work performed. Ensure (http://performed.Ensure) compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Assist (http://codes.Assist) in training and mentoring apprentice engineers and maintenance staff. Coordinate (http://staff.Coordinate) with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in building operations or facilities maintenance. Strong (http://maintenance.Strong) knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems. Ability (http://systems.Ability) to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Proficient (http://manuals.Proficient) in the use of hand and power tools. Ability (http://tools.Ability) to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks including climbing, bending, and kneeling. Willingness (http://kneeling.Willingness) to work rotating shifts, weekends, and in secure environments.
Working Conditions
