The Process Manager, Design Engineering is responsible for managing contract and purchase order reviews, leading pre- and post-production meetings, and coordinating Design Engineering activities. The role ensures accurate cost estimating for new parts, manages design changes, guides method and tooling development, leads problem-solving efforts, and drives cost reduction and quality improvements across products and processes.

+ Prioritize and direct Design Engineering staff to support Engineering and ATI Forged Products objectives.

+ Monitor performance metrics and drive improvements supporting business goals.

+ Select, train, evaluate, and motivate Design Engineering personnel to develop organizational capability.

+ Ensure contract and customer order reviews are completed accurately and timely; ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

+ Prioritize and track progress of estimating projects, new part development, customer orders, and backlog resolution.

+ Apply extensive manufacturing expertise to guide cost development, process planning, and technical decisionmaking.

+ Strengthen organizational understanding of routing, estimating, tooling, and PT cost drivers.

+ Maintain and ensure integrity of ERP data entry and process changes.

+ Lead and document HPI, pre-production, and other cross-functional meetings to identify and drive actions.

+ Build strong working relationships with internal teams and customers to promote trust, transparency, and high ethical standards.
