    Job Description

    $10,000.00 Recruitment Incentive for eligible positions and eligible new employees joining UW Medicine

     

    **The Childbirth Center** has a leadership opportunity for and L&D experienced nurse. We are looking for someone who is interested in growing their career as an Assistant Nurse Manager.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    _include but not limited to_

    + Lead clinical practice, education, and management as delegated by and in collaboration with the nurse manager

    + Promote delivery of quality nursing care

    + Clinical resources for patient care and staff competency

    + Education, supervision, mentorship, and evaluation of staff

    + Assist with ongoing unit daily operations

    + Support staff with orientation, evaluation, clinical problem solving, communication, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

    + Support to the unit management team for the assurance of clinical workforce ongoing development and retention

    + The autonomy to practice to highest level of license

    SCHEDULE

    + 90% Day shift (36hrs.Weekly)

    REQUIREMENTS

    + Two or more years in as an L&D.

    + Have/Obtain a RN license to practice in Washington state or MSL.

    + Charge Nurse

    + Bachelor of Science BSN

    + Graduated from an accredited school of nursing

    + Experience can subsite for required education.

    Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

    Pay Range Minimum:

    $49.23 hourly

    Pay Range Maximum:

    $90.33 hourly

    Other Compensation:

    $10,000 sign on bonus

    BSN premium $1.00/hr

    Certification premium $1.25/hr

    Weekend shift differential $4.00/hr.

    Relocation available

    Overtime pay
