    Janitorial Manager

    Job Description Summary

    The incumbent is responsible for, but is not limited to, working closely with the Facility Manager and customer personnel in the management and oversight of our Janitorial Business Partners and their employees who are performing day-to-day and periodic cleaning activities in assigned work areas.

     

    Basic responsibilities may include any combination of the following tasks but are not limited to: training, mentoring, directing, inspection of janitorial tasks, reporting completion of periodic work such as window washing, hard floor maintenance (including auto-scrubbing, buffing, stripping, waxing, and burnishing), carpet maintenance (including spot removal, shampooing and extracting), pressure washing, inventory management.

     

    Janitorial Manager must monitor cleaning quality throughout the client campus by assessing efficacy of janitorial route plans, ensuring C&W SOP’s are being followed, conducting inspections and following up on customer complaints to ensure complete client satisfaction.

    **Pay:** $100,000

    **REQUIRED:** Bilingual (English & Spanish)

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Audit janitorial processes and procedures

    • Evaluate all janitorial activities relating to compliance, including event support, special cleaning projects, etc.

    • Monitor and assess janitorial projects for compliance risks

    • Ensure janitorial cleaning is performed following C&W Services company policies and procedures

    • Establish reliable internal controls utilizing janitorial scope of work, frequency matrix and route plans

    • Develop list of services observations daily and share with C&W Services Facility Manager/Janitorial Teams

    • Develop janitorial plan with C&W Services Manager on how to address service misses and non-compliance

    • Participate the development and implementation of janitorial training/SOP’s

    • Present audits, data, and procedures to other teams; advise on compliance issues across the site

    • Work with company leadership to review potential future compliance red flags or risk

    • Collaborate and create strong interpersonal relationships between janitorial teams and facilities for total compliance monitoring and audits

    • Proactive in understanding and educating changes safety regulations and best practices, as they apply to the site and business

    • Manages financials/budgets for Facility Manager regarding Janitorial costs (labor and materials)

    • Manages janitorial projects for out of scope janitorial items requested by the customer, creates WOM and POs

    SITE SPECIFIC TASK:

    • Manager is responsible for performing audits on quality assurance platform

    • Manager will be responsible for completing set number of audits per month as determined by C&W Services Facility Manager

    • Manager must share audit findings with C&W Services Facility Manager and Janitorial Vendors

    • Manager must verify findings have been corrected, if not addressed or pending action, Supervisor is to escalate non-compliance

    • Manager will review janitorial Maximo work orders/project completed as assigned by C&W Services Facility Manager

    • Manager is responsible for submitted work orders for any repairs observed needed within the facility

    • Manager will review developed SOP’s for the site and ensure compliance with janitorial staff

    • Manager will assist C&W Services Facility Manager in weekly/monthly reports

    • Manager will create monthly report of janitorial areas of opportunity and choose/draft SOP’s for the areas that requires focus

    • C&W Services Facility Manager will assign projects as needed to Janitorial Manager

    JANATORIAL MANAGER REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience:1 Year previous experience as a janitorial manager, compliance officer, compliance manager, or related position

    • Experience: 2 years demonstrated experience working in a janitorial environment.

    • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory capacity

    • Must demonstrate the ability to lead and direct hourly personnel toward accomplishment of company goals

    • Adaptable to changes within Janitorial Operations

    • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to write and edit company policies

    • Goal-oriented, organized team player

    • Accurate and attention to detail

    The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

     

    The compensation for the position is: $ 85,000.00 - $100,000.00
