Intro:

As as **Senior FP&A Analyst** supporting the **Power & Energy Segment** , you’ll play a key role in delivering financial insights that drive strategic decisions across the business.

What You Will Do:

+ Financial accounting and reporting for the segment, including monthly closing tasks, Form M analysis and preparation for Actuals and Forecasts.

+ Providing insightful analysis and commentary on relevant financial data and metrics to a variety of business stakeholders across the segment.

+ Collaborating with Corporate Forecasting and the Financial Analysis Reporting Group as well as the divisions with Power & Energy to meet reporting deadlines and deliverables.

What You Have:

+ **Education/Experience:** Bachelor’s degree concentrated in Accounting or related fields; 3+ years of job-related experience

+ **Accuracy and Attention to Detail:** Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision

+ **Analytical Thinking:** Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems

+ **Effective Communications:** Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors

+ **Financial Analysis:** Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

Summary Pay Range:

$110,520.00 - $165,840.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
