Organization & Team Overview
This internship sits within Comcast’s New England Region Marketing Events team, supporting local marketing activations across Connecticut. The team focuses on brand engagement, customer acquisition & experience, and community presence through high-impact events and grassroots marketing.
You’ll be joining a collaborative group of marketing professionals who specialize in event strategy, execution, and performance tracking. The team works closely with cross-functional partners including sales, HQ and Northeast Division, and media to bring the Comcast brand to life in local markets.
Role Description

As a Marketing Events Specialist, you will support the planning, execution, and analysis of Comcast’s regional event marketing initiatives. You’ll help lay the groundwork for brand engagement and bridge the gap between our sales and customer experience, while learning how to manage logistics, vendor relationships, and post-event reporting.
You’ll work on:
+ Coordinating event logistics and on-site activations
+ Supporting creative development for flyers, signage, and giveaways
+ Tracking performance metrics and compiling post-event recaps
+ Collaborating with internal teams and external partners
Your impact will be felt in how effectively we engage in our communities, drive brand awareness, and support business goals through evnets marketing and branding. defects and outages.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Assist in planning and executing local marketing events and activations
+ Build and maintain relationships with Comcast Teammates and business partners
+ Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal stakeholders
+ Support creative asset development and production
+ Track event performance and compile recap reports
+ Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Preferred Skills
+ Strong organizational and communication skills
+ Interest in event planning, marketing, and brand strategy
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
+ Comfortable using Microsoft Suite
+ Experience with customer engagement
+ Must be able to work 40-hour schedule that **includes weekends** .
+ Must have the ability to travel locally with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
+ Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
+ Preferred Majors: Marketing, Business, Management, Communications
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
+ Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
+ Rising Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between **Winter 2026- Spring 2027)**
+ Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for **Fall 2026** semester before graduating)
+ Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- **June 1 through August 14, 2026**
+ Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
+ Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)
