Overview
West Main, a DePaul Treatment Apartment Program, is now hiring a full-time Residential Supervisor 1! Responsible for with the overall operation of the TAP or CR (less than 15 beds) including but not limited to the oversight of the medication room and supervisory responsibilities. This includes overseeing the operation of the program in the absence of the Director.

Responsibilities
+ Responsible for the overall operation of the program in accordance with DePaul policies and procedures as well as the standards put forth by the NYS office of Mental Health and other applicable agencies.
+ Works in conjunction with Senior Administrators, and Quality Management to ensure that each resident receives high quality, person centered services that address individual needs and desires.
+ Oversees the overall operation of the medication systems and policies and provides direct support and supervision to the medication coordinators and Assistant Supervisor.
+ Ensures the safety and well being of residents and staff through the implementation of the fire and disaster plan and on-going fire and safety training.
+ Provides on-going support and training to staff and residents with regard to the rehabilitative philosophy of the program using person-centered practices.
+ Supervises all full-time staff and provides regular feedback about job performance.
+ Review and submit monthly billing and ensure documentation is completed within time frames and up to the standards set by NYS OMH and Medicaid.
+ Respects and maintains resident confidentiality and demonstrates a caring, positive attitude toward all residents, staff, guests and service providers.
+ Schedules and attends regular staff meetings.
+ Works with Director to promote public relations with collaborative systems.
+ Follow all safety rules and regulations for self, residents and staff.
+ Performs any other duties necessary for the effective operation of the program.
+ Reviews all Service Plans, Quarterly Reviews, Continued Stays, Restorative Services and progress notes for all residents to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
+ Attends treatment team meetings, family meetings and community meetings to best ensure a high quality of care to residents.
+ Oversees the implementation of regular resident meetings to address concerns and issues and works with residents to ensure satisfaction with the program as a whole.
+ Works with DePaul Properties staff, as applicable, to ensure that all DHCR program requirements are met.
+ Works with DePaul Properties staff, as applicable, and maintenance staff assigned to the site to assure the on-going maintenance of the building and grounds.
+ Performs any other duties necessary for the effective operation of the program.
Qualifications
Must meet one of the following three criteria: QMHS Required.
+ Bachelor’s degree in psychology or Human Service fieldplusone (1) year of residential experience working with mentally disabled individuals (which includes related supervisory experience).
+ Associate’s degree in a Human Service fieldplusthree years of residential experience working with mentally disabled individuals (one of which includes related supervisory experience).
+ High School diploma or GEDplusfive years residential experience working with mentally disabled individuals (two of which includes related supervisory experience).
*In addition to the above criteria this position also requires a clean NYS driving record as outlined in DePaul’s personnel policy. The use of one’s personal vehicle is also a requirement. Must be at least Eighteen (18) years of age.

The schedule for this position is for the day shift.
