Hartford HealthCare’s Pharmacy System has grown to include 8 inpatient pharmacies, 6 cancer center infusion pharmacies, 3 retail pharmacies, and our Ambulatory Care pharmacy department supporting more than 50 medical office practices. Collaboration between our numerous pharmacy services and other members of the health care team is key to our commitment to continually improving how we provide patient care. Pharmacists ensure optimal drug therapy by designing therapy, monitoring and dispensing medications, and directing the work of supportive staff to maximize positive patient outcomes. Reports to: Pharmacy Supervisor or Manager. *Experience:*Pharmacy residency highly preferred, BCPS certification preferred; consideration will be given to other individuals with > 5 years of clinical experience in an acute care hospital. Prior experience with EPIC systems preferred. *Education:*Pharm.D required. Required to show copy of valid Connecticut Pharmacy license, provide documentation of Title ACPE # and amount of credit before February 1st of every year. Good problem solving, communication, collaboration, and counseling skills are required. We take great care of careers.
