    The following position is to join our **RTX Corporate** team:

    Principal Specialist, Total Rewards

    What You Will Do

    + Oversee financials and related reporting for multi-year HR benefits projects, including working with stakeholders, Enterprise Services and others to understand current expense and prepare latest estimates.

    + Responsible for cost management and related chargebacks for Learning and Development Top Talent and LDP programs as well other programs as required.

    + Assist with overall Corporate HR budget and AOP process and prepare monthly year-to-date and full year monthly reports with analysis on variance drivers, including other reports and analysis requested by leadership.

    + Participate in year-end closing and oversee year-end accruals and any reclass or adjusting journal entries required.

    + Oversee and manage PO submission process and funding adjustments as required, including review of all purchase orders and any contracts requiring SOW’s and renewals for year-end.

    + Request distribution authority approval levels be added/adjusted to SAP/WPR as required.

    + Coordinate any new intercompany billings with RTX entities.

    + Gain and apply knowledge of the government accounting requirements by evaluating conference charges, determining allowability, and submitting correcting journal entries, as needed.

    + Participate in ad hoc requests and special projects including harmonization efforts of various employee programs.

    Qualifications You Must Have

    + Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience **or** an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience **or** in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.

    + Prior knowledge of SAP, and RTX intercompany processes, government accounting rules, GAAP, and contract management principles.

    + Proficiency in financial management tools and software, including Microsoft Office.

    + Knowledge/experience in project management, strong analytical, planning and organizational skill with strong attention to detail.

    Qualifications We Prefer

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

    + Demonstrated proficiency in working effectively across all levels and functions within the business.

    + Robust problem-solving skills.

    + Highly collaborative work style, highly motivated, and able to work independently.

    The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

     

    RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

     

    Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

     

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
