    The Production Quality Engineer is the primary quality focal for production and value stream support. Some of the primary responsibilities of the Product Quality Engineer include: Customer returned product investigation, delivered quality corrective action and site wide read across, non-conforming material review, change review board support, manufacturing improvement initiatives, quality control and improvement initiatives (PPAP, RTX-Zero), and new product introduction support.

    What You Will Do:

    + Ensuring successful product release through quality tools (ETQP, PPAP, MPR)

    + Timely RCCA for product escapes

    + FAI reviews

    + Business process enhancements through continuous improvement initiative

    + Nonconforming material review and approval

    What You Will Learn:

    + Leadership skills in a production environment

    + Interviewing and hiring new employees

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    + Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.

    + Manufacturing experience

    Qualifications We Prefer:

    + Qualified candidates will need to be knowledgeable in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) including requirements derived from AS9145 and/or AS13100.

    + Knowledgeable in the 8D process and review C/A plans with the product quality team

    The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

     

    RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
