    Job Summary

    The Physician Recruiter is responsible for leading the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of physicians and advanced practice professionals to support the organization's clinical and strategic goals. This role involves sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating site visits, managing contract negotiations, and fostering positive relationships with medical staff. The Physician Recruiter ensures a smooth recruitment process and collaborates with leadership to meet staffing needs and enhance organizational performance.

    Essential Functions

    + Leads the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting physician and advanced practice professional candidates to leadership.

    + Develops and maintains candidate tracking systems and ensures timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

    + Coordinates and organizes candidate itineraries, agendas, and site visits, ensuring a professional and positive experience.

    + Negotiates employment contracts and ensures candidates are informed about the organization’s compensation plans, benefits, and position-specific details.

    + Collaborates with leadership to assess recruitment needs, develop strategies, and implement action plans to address gaps in clinical staffing.

    + Establishes and maintains strong relationships with physicians, advanced practice professionals, and medical office managers to enhance engagement and satisfaction.

    + Facilitates onboarding and retention activities, including physician recognition programs and ongoing dialogue with new hires to ensure long-term satisfaction.

    + Participates in the development of recruitment-related policies, procedures, and standards to streamline processes and improve outcomes.

    + Supports budget development for recruitment activities and ensures cost-effective use of resources.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    + Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

    + Complies with all policies and standards.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or related field required or

    + Four (4) plus years of direct experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree required

    + Master's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration preferred

    + 0-2 years of experience in recruitment required

    + 2-4 years of experience working with physicians in a clinic or hospital setting preferred

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    + Strong understanding of physician recruitment processes, credentialing, and healthcare staffing needs.

    + Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.

    + Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with candidates, medical staff, and leadership.

    + Ability to present complex information clearly and effectively in written, verbal, and visual formats.

    + Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

    + Proficiency in using recruitment software, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
