+ Review water-quality monitoring summaries, turbidity/total suspended solids (TSS) data, sediment monitoring logs, and vessel activity logs.

+ Coordinate with vessel crews, offshore contractors, Water Quality Monitoring Leads, Protected Species Observer Leads, and marine specialists.

+ Review method statements for jet trenching, mechanical dredging, diver tie-ins, and other in-water construction methods.

+ Support agency notification requirements and prepare offshore environmental deliverables.

+ 7 to 10 years of experience working as an environmental scientist/engineer, including offshore or in-water environmental monitoring, marine fieldwork, coastal habitat assessments, and/or construction compliance oversight.

+ Strong marine and coastal environmental science background, including experience with offshore ecosystems, benthic habitats, fisheries, marine species, or water-quality considerations.

+ Expertise with State and Federal regulations governing offshore and in-water work (e.g., BOEM/BSEE, NMFS, USACE, state coastal programs), including permitting pathways and environmental compliance processes.

+ Demonstrated experience coordinating with offshore construction contractors, vessel crews, regulatory/resource agencies, and technical specialists.

+ Proven experience leading and reviewing environmental technical reports, impact evaluations, siting analyses, and permit applications for offshore or coastal infrastructure projects.

+ Ability to lead and mentor multidisciplinary environmental teams, with strong QA/QC oversight skills.

+ Proficiency with technical writing, offshore documentation workflows, field data tracking tools, and standard communication platforms.

+ Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills for interpreting offshore monitoring data, identifying compliance risks, and recommending adaptive-management solutions.

+ Commitment to health and safety and the ability to adhere to WSP’s safety, drug/alcohol, and harassment policies.

+ Ability to support offshore schedules that may require extended or non-standard hours to align with vessel operations.
