    Position Description:** **Administrator on Duty - RN

     

    The Administrator on Duty is responsible for coordinating the day to day operations by acting as a liaison with all departments. In collaboration with the nursing teams, the AOD is integral in balancing staffing on a shift by shift basis, reallocating resources as census and acuity demand and facilitates patient placement. Is a resource for problem solving and keeps Directors, Managers, and Administrators informed as appropriate to the circumstances.

     

    + Assists in the delivery of patient care in crisis situations

    + Coordinates or assists in coordinating the transfer of patients to other facilities and ensures all requirements are documented per policy prior to patient transfer

    + Facilitates and monitors admissions, discharges and transfers in a proactive and timely manner

    + Maintains record required for contract staff and Nursing Float team members, documents staffing variances and actions and completes electronic records related to staffing.

    Requirements:

    + Registered Nurse license

    + BLS

    + ACLS

    + 3 Years RN Clinical related experience

    + Associates Degree in Nursing

    Preferred:

    + 1 year Management

    + Bachelors Degree in Nursing

    Status:** **Full Time, Exempt: No

     

    Shift Hours:** **6:45AM - 7:15PM

     

    Shift:** **Shift 1

     

    Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

     

    Weekend Work:** **Every Other

     

    On Call:** **No
