The Water Plant Operator Apprentice role requires an independent, hands-on worker with maintenance skills. Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, critical thinking abilities, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. * This role will require a weekly schedule of Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday - 7:00 a,m. to 3:30 p.m. And, Saturday and Sunday 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Are you able to meet this schedule?* _ *Primary Role*_ Process Technician operates and maintains the groundwater treatment facility, well field, booster stations and tanks, including daily operations and maintenance. Must follow all work and safety rules established by the company. _*Key Accountabilities*_ * Responsible for daily operations and maintenance activity in the production department assigned. * Maintains accurate records of all maintenance activities. * Assists with the preparation of maintenance activities as required. * Makes water treatment control tests and calculations necessary to control the water treatment and pumpage of the facility. * Maintains storeyards and materials in an orderly fashion. Renovates salvaged materials. If a vehicle is assigned, ensures that the vehicle is kept stocked with necessary materials, tools, and equipment. Keeps vehicle, tools, and equipment clean and secure. Makes or assists in making measurements on the job.
