As a **Security Officer - Logistics Access Gate** in **Greensboro, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents at a busy logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entrances and exits, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to support a secure environment. You will also provide outstanding customer service and communication, embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation while putting people first.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the logistics and distribution location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues.

+ Maintain accurate records of activities, observations, and incidents as required by site procedures.

+ Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel to address inquiries and provide guidance related to access control procedures.

+ Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site leadership to support the overall security-related objectives of the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
