What You'll Do:

+ Conduct screening of individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and prohibited items.

+ Follow site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the client location.

+ Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directing them as needed within the logistics and distribution environment.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.

+ Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support security-related operations and emergency response activities.

+ Remain alert and attentive while monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter potential security-related threats.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

+ A guard card or security license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
