As a **Security Officer - Armed Healthcare Patrols** in **Tempe, AZ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service while carrying out armed responsibilities. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities in a healthcare environment.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including those that may require an armed presence.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during patrols or while on post.

+ Collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.

+ Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management and the client, adapting to changing conditions at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Have at least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
