As a **Security Officer - Mall Entry Control** in **Litchfield Park, AZ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent retail location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role involves providing excellent customer service and clear communication to customers and staff, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail location.

+ Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity within the premises.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and around the perimeter to observe and report any unusual conditions or activities.

+ Assist with crowd management and help to deter theft or disturbances during high-traffic periods.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.

+ Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including guiding guests or employees as needed.

+ Maintain a professional presence and provide assistance to staff, visitors, and/or contractors as they enter and exit the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
