As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a bustling retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. This driving post involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a retail shopping center environment.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the shopping center and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a welcoming atmosphere.

    + Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, observing for unusual behavior or situations that require security-related attention.

    + Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials as needed and addressing unauthorized entry attempts appropriately.

    + Communicate professionally with the public, tenants, and first responders as needed to support a positive experience at the location.

    + Document security-related incidents and complete required reports accurately and promptly.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + A valid driver’s license from the job state is required and must meet with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

    + An armed guard card or license is required.

    + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
