As a **Security Officer - Armed Financial Patrols** in **Raleigh, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves providing outstanding customer service while maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, reporting any irregularities and/or security-related concerns as observed.

+ Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives as needed.

+ Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with company and client protocols.

+ Assist law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed during incidents.

+ Follow all protocols regarding the carrying and use of an assigned firearm, maintaining compliance with training and legal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
