What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail or mall environment.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for retail tenants and shoppers.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or address potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or property damage encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.

+ Assist with access control procedures and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access within the retail or mall location.

+ Provide visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted behavior.

+ Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and communicating promptly with appropriate personnel.

+ Maintain accurate records and logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and client policies.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
