Our client, a leader in data center development and environmental management, is seeking an Environmental Compliance Project Manager to join their team. As an Environmental Compliance Project Manager, you will be part of the Construction Environmental Compliance team supporting environmental permit compliance during the construction of data centers. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Construction Permitting and Compliance, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Environmental Compliance Project Manager
**Location:** Fully remote; preferred West Coast
Pay Range: $79.42 - $87.35 Hourly
What's the Job?
+ Coordinate with subject-matter experts to ensure compliance obligations and environmental requirements are met based on construction schedules.
+ Manage environmental and construction consultants supporting site inspections, reporting, and agency discussions.
+ Identify and mitigate issues related to stormwater, wetlands, threatened species, cultural resources, and air quality during construction.
+ Support regulatory agency, stakeholder, and community engagement activities for new builds.
+ Develop and implement environmental risk and compliance mitigation strategies to enable timely data center construction and operation.
What's Needed?
+ Bachelor's degree in environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science or equivalent
+ Experience managing environmental permits and compliance during construction projects.
+ Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations and standards.
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
+ Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and external agencies effectively.
