What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed to the appropriate personnel.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregularities.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate logs of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.

+ Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and vendors to address inquiries and provide information related to security-related matters at the location.

+ Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific procedures, including those related to the protection of proprietary or confidential information within the tech, media, and telecom environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
