As a **Security Officer - Unarmed Bank Patrol** in **Washington, DC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within a financial institution, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, assist with access control, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment within the financial institution.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols inside and around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure setting.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to identify any unusual activity and report observations as required.

+ Assist with access control by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals in accordance with site protocols.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance needs to site management and Allied Universal as needed.

+ Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and law enforcement or emergency personnel as necessary while representing Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.

+ Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Guard card or license is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
